Civil Inspector

Responsibilities:

• Conduct and attend site quality inspections, including surveillance, witness points, hold points, and quality audits.
• Review quality documents, including quality plans, ITPs, test reports, prequalification documents, testing and commissioning plans, and handover documents.
• Participate in inspection tests to ensure compliance with project standards.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to quality requirements.
• Support the project team in maintaining quality control records and reports.
• Report directly to the Construction Supervisor regarding site inspections, quality issues, and progress updates.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction, with at least 5 years in a Civil Site Inspector role in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance processes and construction standards.

Job Description:

Planning and securing NOC’s and building permits for the projects

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing, Preparing the NOC’s and submissions applications for the designs, and coordinating with other departments’ NOC’s relevant to the approvals.
• Preparing the reports of the status of approvals, procedures, and requirements relevant to the issuance of approvals, NOC’s and buildings permits.
• Follow-up and coordination the applications and designs whether at office or online.
• Providing comprehensive databases for the NOC’s, approvals, applications and their statuses, and updating the same regularly.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering with minimum of 3 to 5 years relevant experience in buildings and infrastructure in Abu Dhabi

Job Description:

• Oversee site operations to ensure architectural drawings are followed and workmanship meets the prescribed standards
• Review all technical submittals for compliance with project standards, specifications, and requirements.
• Review shop drawings for compliance with project requirements.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Manage responses to RFIs, assist in contract administration, track changes via site instructions, and manage variation or claim assessments
• Conduct daily audits to assess work progress and quality.
• Liaise with engineers, contractors, specialist suppliers and project managers to resolve design conflicts, coordinate technical details, and ensure workflow continuity
• Ensure all architectural work adheres to Abu Dhabi and UAE building codes, standards, and environmental/safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Architecture.
• Experience of 5 to 10 years preferably in industrial projects.
• Excellent written and spoken English. Arabic knowledge is preferred.
