In 2006 Sacré-Davey Group International was born as the international arm of Sacré-Davey and soon after in 2007 Sacré-Davey Middle East was established to focus on the Mideast and Africa.
In 2017 both Sacré-Davey Group International and Sacré-Davey Middle East came together under the name SDV Consulting Engineers. Under the new name, the Firm adopted a distinct visual identity and launched a separate website dedicated to the markets they serve.

Dr. Jalal Abdenour
Managing Director
Citizen of the world with experience and expertise in North America, Europe, Central and South Asia, Middle East, and North Africa. Jalal has a successful track record of over 30 years in delivering growth and value in diversified sectors. His portfolio features many international projects, varying from hydrogen plants to heavy industries, which he has led through all project stages, transforming concepts to thriving operations.
Jalal’s business acumen is cultivated through many years of senior leadership, professional training, and education. His positions prior to SDV included the CEO (MEA & India) of McPhy Energy, and the Managing Director of Sacré-Davey Group International. He is a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia, Canada, and a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) member of the Canadian Association of Management Consultants. Jalal holds bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in industrial engineering, design and manufacturing, and engineering management. He is a graduate of The George Washington University.
